What is a self-propelled lawn mower?

Our self-propelled lawn mower range is designed to do the hard work for you - the motor pushes the lawn mower forwards under your guidance and control. Suitable for lawns of all shapes and sizes, they make light work of large, sloped and uneven gardens in particular.

EGO mowers are designed with comfort in mind. While our polymer deck models make the mower lighter, and therefore makes manoeuvring them into position much easier, we also have a steel deck model for those who prefer to have a heavier mower – the self-propelled motor will handle it. The deck is polymer, so manoeuvring them into position is much easier than the type that has a heavier steel deck.

They have fewer moving parts, which means less vibration - important if you have a large garden or do frequent mowing. Thanks to the smooth brushless motor, they’re less noisy, too.

All our self-propelled lawn mowers have adjustable handle heights and easy to reach grass box emptying positions. And to top it, they don’t give off any emissions and are cheaper to run than their petrol equivalents.

All models in the EGO range of lawn mowers are powered by battery, which means you can reach right to the end of your lawn and not have to worry about the length of your power cord, or accidentally mowing through it. Each model is supplied with a battery and charger.

All our batteries are interchangeable across the entire EGO cordless range - there’s a battery for every tool and every job. As the batteries go up in size, so does the power capacity and run time.

A self-propelled lawn mower for every garden

Our range has been designed to meet a wide range of requirements, from the small lawn to the large. Each model includes essential features and accessories that make lawn mowing easier and give a professional finish, as effortlessly as possible.

For example, the small but mighty EGO Power+ LM1702E-SP is great at collecting, mulching and rear discharge cutting. Its slightly larger brother, the EGO Power+ LM1903E-SP can navigate tight areas and get up close to trees in medium sized gardens.

Bigger still, with a 50cm cutting width, the EGO Power+ LM2021E-SP is perfect for tackling larger gardens. It has 6 cut-height settings and a 60L collection bag.

The largest self-propelled lawnmower in our range, the EGO Power+ LM2135E-SP, is supplied with a 7.5Ah battery that will allow you to cut up to 1000sqm on a single charge; it packs a 70L collection bag and a multi-blade cutting system.
